Health and safety associate

Job Summary: Provides support on health, safety, related matters to production and construction phases and site personnel under the guidance of the site HSE leader. Assists in the implementation, analysis, review and sustainability of HSE Management Systems. Key Responsibilities: Plan Maintains skills and knowledge required to perform job duties. Determine gaps within corporate health and safety initiatives and local health and safety policies, procedures and regulatory requirements. Build an understanding of and applies HSE culture ensuring it is integral to processes. Maintain confidentiality and appropriate recordkeeping standards in line with corporate data protection and retention requirements. Do Stop work and immediately report any major injury hazards. Report any work-related injury, illness, incident or hazard through internal reporting processes and provide guidance to the site on internal reporting. Support the implementation and maintenance of hazard identification, incident investigation and risk assessment processes, including delivery of training. Support closure of corrective and preventive actions. Communicate effectively to create safety awareness. Perform administrative tasks as required. Check Participate in health and safety inspection and audit programs. Actively participate and lead incident investigation and reporting. Assist in the analysis of safety related trends. Act Maintain local health and safety policies, procedures and regulatory requirements. Support health, safety and wellness initiatives. Support implementation and maintenance of Emergency Response processes including delivery of training. Participate in local employee engagement initiatives to drive an interdependent culture. Quality Follows all applicable standard work, process documentation and quality procedures. Raises issues to minimize cost and quality exposures. Performs quality checks. Identifies and controls non-conforming material. Teamwork Communicates effectively with the assigned team and with all support teams. Completes training and personal development in line with business requirements. Participates actively in ways to improve quality, safety, process, material flow, and employee development

Production planner

Under minimal supervision and in accordance with Cummins Delegation of Authority Policy, plans and establishes production schedules to meet customer demand. Develops production schedules in accordance with sales forecast, plant and employee capacity, and new business opportunities. Works to align and optimize raw material (RM) stocking strategies with Material Planners, Work In Process (WIP) with Operations, and Finished Goods (FG) stocking strategies with Materials and Customer Service.    

Technical Trainer

Uses a demand based model to identify the spectrum of product and process training needs for technicians. Develops plans and executes the implementation of the infrastructure (facilities, hardware, qualified instructors, and systems) necessary to deliver the training including facilities, personnel, hardware, and systems to address performance gaps, new hires, and new products arriving in territory. Communicates training availability and manages the schedule to meet changing training demand. Responsible for the accurate capture of training completion records for the students. Provides training completion feedback to business and functional stakeholders. Creates and delivers foundational content in alignment with corporate standards to prepare appropriate students for the qualification process. Enhances corporate qualification programs through the creation of translated instructional materials as required including participant materials, instructor guides, presentations, assessments, evaluations and job aids. Develops the business case to determine the most cost effective classroom delivery method ? local or regional. Provides feedback to training developers on necessary enhancements to training programs. Applies different change management models as required by the contexts of the change; establishes sponsorship and ownership for change; facilitates planning for change and creation of change strategies.

  Monitor the daily performance and operation of the engines Perform regular maintenance, service, and technical inspections as required Diagnose and troubleshoot engine faults and malfunctions Maintain regular and effective communication with the client organization and the company’s head office Participate in Cummins engine training programs organized by the company, continuously improve technical knowledge and skills, and successfully complete the courses with official certification
